Massage & Reflexology

Massage establishes the healing power of touch. It can give us valuable ‘time out’ and relaxation, as well as providing active therapy for our physical and emotional well-being. Regular massage helps to boost our immune system and promotes a feeling of relaxation and calmness.

Full Body Massage (60 mins)

A therapeutic treatment, a fusion of Swedish and deep tissue massage, designed to promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve muscle tension and reduce stress.

Hot Stone Massage (90 mins)

A deeply relaxing massage, warm basalt stones loosen tight muscles and aid better circulation.

Pregnancy Massage (60 mins)

Pregnancy Massage can be of enormous benefit not only to the mother but also to the unborn baby. Massage during pregnancy emotionally and physiologically supports a woman during a time when her body is undergoing many changes and helps prepare her body for the birth. It helps to alleviate the aches and pains and other common health problems associated with pregnancy. The baby also greatly benefits as feel good endorphins released by the mother during massage are passed on to the baby. Regular massage during pregnancy can make the mother more aware of her own body which will help with the ability to relax during the first stage of labour and often results in shorter and easier births, with less pain and a lower rate of post-natal complications.

Reflexology (45 mins)

Reflexology involves applying pressure to the feet using specific thumb, finger and hand techniques, and is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet. By having the whole body represented in the feet, Reflexology is a means of treating the whole body and of treating the body as a whole. This is a natural therapy and allows not only symptoms to be treated but also the causes of symptoms.
